Hello my dear ones, or in my language "Hallo meine Lieben". My name is Maxie Petzold, I am 25 years old and currently an exchange student at Bilkent University. I am studying the Master Creative Communication and Brand Management at Pforzheim University, Germany. After graduation, I would like to work as brand manager in the automotive industry, for example at Mercedes-Benz AG or Porsche AG in Stuttgart, Germany (my hometown). Side Fact: The Mercedes-Benz Museum has a cab with incredibly 999.999 km, which comes from an Istanbul Taxi driver! Beyond that, I am interested in true crimes, interior design, fashion and art. I like to view art in different exhibitions or museums. My favorite artist is Egon Schiele from Tulln, Austria. And this is what my blog should be about – art. I want to take you on an exciting journey that will give you insights into the art of Ankara!
“Art cannot be modern. Art is primordially eternal.”– Egon Schiele |
Hello, everyone! I am Dilara Tıraş, a driven senior year student at Bilkent University, passionately immersed in the realm of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. Over the past three years, my academic journey has been marked by a fascination with sustainable design and the art of crafting furniture. Post-graduation, I am planning on going into a master's degree on design. Beyond the confines of design, I find solace in exploring diverse cultures, indulging in video games, and delving into the captivating realms of wildlife and survival. This are all of the thing that fuels my creativity in the design process.
Thank you for taking the time to getting to know me. I look forward to connecting through art in Ankara. |
Hi there! I am Pınar Erden, currently a senior student in Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration. If there are some things you need to know about me, that would be how much curiosity I have for sustainability and how much passion I carry to help make awareness in my community. Previously, I conducted research in a Canadian global organization to measure the awareness of the students in my university about sustainability & climate change. Other than these, I love making new friends and I am easily adopted to any social group. I love having meaningful conversations with people, and I can talk about almost anything. I also enjoy drawing portraits without any reference. If you wish, you can check some of my works @pinturasdena on Instagram!🙂 My plan for the near future is hopefully to become an academician and continue working on research in the areas of my main interest, which is economic development of nations. This should not be a surprise after reading what I love doing since I have endless curiosity many topics and the desire to make an impact.🦋

Hello, my name is Jason Sonja and I am an average 23 year old–senior communication design student navigating through the fashion and art industry one paint brush at a time.
Passionate about fashion styling, journalism, creative direction and communication design, I tend to show my eye for aesthetics and colours in my works through digital and traditional media. Over the course of my life, I have been granted opportunities to work for prestigious companies such as Vogue Singapore as a writer and a fashion stylist as well as ad-hoc styling for Men’s Folio, the leading male magazine in Southeast Asia. In 2021, I was the leading creative director of my school and organised many successful events which focused on the student body and professors. I find a lot of joy in taking charge of a team where I can provide a space for everyone to shine. |
